We are in Melbourne for the last couple of months and we really love it. Both of us are working and we experienceing more of a normal life. Instead of living out of the Landrover we have a proper bed, a kitchen and a own bathroom. And for our Landy there is off-street parking..
It helps to see things in perspective and it actually feels good to be working again. If we are not working there is enough to do in and around Melbourne. We made some nice friends and try to go out and explore as often as we can (off-roading yahoo).
The initial plan was to travel from The Netherlands to Australia and now we are here we start dreaming of a continuation of our trip. Back to Europe, eventually. But how? Ship the Landy to South-Africa and drive up? Vladivostok and back? Or South America after all?
Kind of a luxery problem actually. We're not in a hurry so we'll see
